The rules for this area are simple:
(1) No cheating - While many of this year's activities were designed to be "cheat-proof," doing either of the following will result in removal from the forums for the remainder of the competition:
- Entering a common room that isn't your own. We keep a list of members who have multiple accounts (even those who don't report it) and know when people have changed houses. So pick ONE house, stick with it, and stay out of the other three.
- Sharing the password to your house with other members or discussing what is posted in your common room with non-housemates or in open areas of the forum. Leave all password sharing to the prefects and all Cup-related discussions to your respective common rooms.
(2) Observe all normal Forum Rules and Guidelines (obviously)
(3) Have FUN - This year's cup was designed to make sure ALL the houses have an equal shot at winning, regardless of size. So just relax, join in, and enjoy the competition for what it is: A GOOD TIME. There are no prizes here so no reason to cheat, insult other members or the staff, be short with each other, or be a stick in the mud.
One additional note: While the prefects have been working hard to plan some wonderful House Cup activities of their own to debut later next month, they will be joining their houses as participants in most of the events. They haven't been given too much of an inside scoop, but do try and listen to them when they offer you advice.
