I think the title pretty much explains it all, so here we go:
In my extremely biased opinion, I believe that Remus Lupin was one of the best characters from the series. Of course, he had his ups and downs, such as his "Furry Little Problem" and his strong desire to desert Tonks with his unborn child. However, I believe his positive attributes far outweighed his negative ones. He was brave, daring, and valiant. He laid his life on the line for Harry, eventually dying for him in the final book. Most importantly, he never lost hope. Not once did he hang his head in defeat. He was a caring, protective, honest, brave character that didn't deserve to die.
